AI 16-bit pixel art sprite generator
The SNES and Mega Drive look: rich palettes, soft shading, chunky outlines. The default for most indie RPGs and platformers.
Style rules
32–64 px characters, 16–32 colors, 1 px dark outline, 2–3 tone shading.
Costs 2 credits
Good for
- Stardew-like farming and life sims
- Action RPGs
- Metroidvanias
Palette
No fixed palette: colors are chosen per sprite and then reduced to the limit above.
How the generator enforces it
- Sprites are generated at a higher resolution and downsampled with a pixel-art filter to the style's sprite size.
- Every pixel is snapped to the style's palette, so shading never introduces stray colors.
- Outlines and shading follow the conventions listed above, and every frame of an animation shares one palette.
